The American Association of Notaries is approved by the Texas Secretary of State to electronically submit notary applications and bonds to the State on behalf of notary applicants.

Select one of the options below to begin your Texas notary application process, order your notary bond, and purchase notary supplies.

Option 1 – Fast Approval (Recommended)

Complete your notary application on our website and order your $10,000 notary bond and supplies. After you complete your notary education, we will electronically submit your notary application and bond to the Texas Secretary of State and pay the $21 filing fee on your behalf. Total cost of the bond and filing fee: $71.

Option 2 – Convenient (Do It Yourself)

Order a four-year, $10,000 notary bond and supplies. Immediately after checkout, download your notary bond and step-by-step instructions on how to complete your notary education and submit your notary bond and application directly on the Texas Secretary of State's website. Processing time depends on the state’s backlog, and approval may take longer when you submit the application yourself. Cost of the bond: $50.
