Complete your notary application on our website and order your $10,000 notary bond and supplies. After you complete the required notary education, we will electronically submit your notary application and bond to the Texas Secretary of State and pay the $21 filing fee on your behalf. Applications submitted electronically by AAN typically do not require manual review of the notary bond, which generally allows the application to move through the state’s review process more quickly.  Notary Bond and filing fee: $71.

Option 2 – Notary Bond Only — You Submit Your Application

Order a four-year, $10,000 notary bond. Immediately after checkout, download your notary bond and follow the step-by-step instructions to complete the required notary education and submit your notary bond and application directly through the Texas Secretary of State’s website. Using Option 2 requires manual review of your notary bond by the Texas Secretary of State, so processing time may vary and may take longer. Notary bond cost: $50.
